Option 2:  New Staff

Select 2 New Staff from the Manage Staff Menu to initiate processing to add a new staff member. 

  1. The New Staff screen is displayed.  Select No or Yes to respond to Does your new Staff member already have a BAR OIS account?

    1. If No is selected, the New User screen is displayed.  

    1. If Yes is selected, the New Staff Search screen is displayed. Enter the Last name of an existing staff member.

Click Search.

Click Edit to display the Edit User Screen.

Select the Role Permissions hyperlink to view authorized functions by role. 

Continue displays the Edit User screen with the assigned Station Number result.

Select at least one role for the account and then select Save to display the Edit Staff Success screen.

  1. The New Staff Success screen notifies the Account created successfully and provides the Username 
    and Temporary password for the new account.

Click OK. Proceed to Step 3.

  1. Click Yes or No to confirm: Did you copy down the username and  Password to give to your new employee? 
    Select Yes to display the 
    Manage Staff Menu. The New Staff entry task is complete. 

If you select No, the prompt will redisplay until you confirm by selecting Yes.

  1. Refer to First New Account Login for instructions to login with the new account.
